DRAUGHTSMAN FOR INTERIOR DESIGNER

Job Requirement: 

​​

  • Autodesk certification or Diploma in Interior Design.

  • Experience in computer-aided design and drafting (CADD).

  • Ability to draw manually favorable, but not essential.

  • Ability to work well in a team and on your own.

  • Ability to respond fastl to criticism and maintain a positive attitude.

Job Responsibilities: 

 

  • Following specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings.

  • Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work with CADD systems.

  • Performing calculations for materials and weight limitations.

  • Communicating with architects and engineers, and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings.

  • Preparing, reviewing and redrafting alongside the engineering team.

  • Ensuring final designs are compliant with building regulations.

  • Identifying and communicating potential design problems to the rest of the team.

SALES INTERIOR DESIGNER

Job Requirement: 

​

  • Candidate with 1 to 2 years working experience in kitchen or cabinetry design / interior design / loose furniture will be an added advantage. FRESH GRADUATES are encouraged to apply.

  • Product knowledge for cabinetry products, home living furniture, interior design for home renovation is a plus point. 

  • PC literate and familiar with design software e.g AutoCAD. 

  • Sales driven, pleasant personality and can-do attitude. 

  • Good communication skills with ability to speak in English, Mandarin (candidate needs to liaise with Mandarin speaking client) & Bahasa Malaysia.

  • Possess own transport. 

  • Willing to work on Weekends & Public Holidays. 

Job Responsibilities: 

 

  • Meeting client and produce concept design included Space Planning, Design Conceptualization, Materials and Color Scheme Specifications based on customer's needs. 

  • To prepare 2D/3D design concepts and space planning using Signature's customised Design Software.

  • Responsible to achieve personal sales performance and sales target; from following up on sales leads to developing good relationships with prospects.

  • Ensure timely delivery of products and services for each client's project.

  • Manage client's project costing and work closely with relevant departments to follow up on project progress.

  • Record, analyze and report follow up progress of leads and sales in CRM system.

  • Get the opportunity to attend educational workshops or work related seminars to maintain professional and technical knowledge.

INTERIOR DESIGNER

​Creative Direction

​

  • Together with the Directors and Associates, lead the creative and conceptual stages of the projects.

  • Drive and inspire the design team, bring new ideas, helping to source new furniture, antiques and art and bring original and fresh thoughts to the studio.

  • Design and develop beautiful bespoke furniture, including case pieces, upholstery, lighting and joinery.

  • Present and sell concepts and design solutions to our Clients.

Design + Project Management

 

  • Provide strong project leadership and seamless service to our clients, with exceptional communication throughout.

  • Deliver confident, experienced and skilled space planning, applying knowledge of the planning process and building regulations where applicable.

  • Attend regular internal and external design team meetings and assist the designers on the conceptual and technical side of the design process.

  • Produce all delivery drawings and specifications to a design intent package level.

  • Coordinate and oversee the project’s documentation, ensuring comments and revisions are always up to date.

  • Develop detailed specifications.

  • Support the Senior Management team in producing detailed project timelines with internal milestones. Provide regular and timely updates and progress reports to the Directors and/or Associates.

  • Manage and check information produced by consultants, sub-contractors and suppliers.

  • Respond effectively to complex questions and troubleshoot problems, whilst working and switching between various projects.

  • Apply strategic thinking to projects. Forecast, identify, and communicate risks and brings ideas and solutions to the table.

  • Close projects efficiently- support the project team on rectifying snags and wrapping up projects us as quickly as possible.
